That’s right you are reading correctly, the legendary band Blondie are set to return this year with a new album with a massive tour including UK dates! Deborah Harry who is 64 is still going strong along with the rest of the band and it is set to be one of the biggest comebacks of all time.
This is not going to be as big as the “This Is It” Tour would have been but this is still going to be huge for Blondie fans, I cannot wait. They are not going to be going anywhere like Jackson because they were playing live last year.
Why Does It Matter?
It is going to show younger stars who think they are all that on those drum kits and guitars who is boss and really show that after thirty years in the business a band can still be going strong. Older bands will look at this and perhaps think about making a comeback too, it could be a really great thing. If Blondie is able to make a return so can many others1.
Just before Christmas they went and released a Blondified version of the song we three kings and this was only internet based but it was a huge success. This year is set to be a great one in music with artists like Blondie, Avril Lavigne and My Chemical Romance all looking to release new albums.
Rock Is King

This really is very true and if you are looking at the chart you will see that the music industry is pants. DJ equipment and computers doing all of the work, bring back the rock and the power of people who can actually sing!
