This may sound like something that is obvious to steer clear from but as I was at work at the time it was certainly not intentional.
Basically I had managed to drop my iPhone onto the floor and then had to rush upstairs for a meeting. Once the meeting had finished I had forgotten about dropping the phone so i got on my chair and slid across the room to my desk. I had hit something had had just pressumed that what I had run over was something useless on the floor. Turned out it wasnt the floor at all.
After looking for my phone at a later stage I realised that it was on the floor and picked it up to give it the once over, everything seemed to be working fine until I looked at the back of it. Somehow the part of the phone where the charger goes in had cracked and left me with no way of being able to charge the phone. Another problem is that I had no way of getting a new one because I didn’t have iPhone insurance.
Because the iPhone has been my companion over the past few months I do not feel that I could have any other phone to do the job. I now have to save some money up to get another one, I will not make this mistake again. Perhaps because I am on contract they will give me a bit of a discount but I can’t see much sympathy coming from them when I haven’t for any insurance of any kind, even that gadget insurance would have sorted me out.
I am now going to go out and get PDA insurance as there is no way I am ever taking this kind of risk again. It really is impossible to replace all of the things I have broken in the recent times.
