After recently looking into news stories on both Pairs Hilton and Lindsay Lohan getting their precious pieces of jewellery back I thought it would be good to write on why it was so important to them.

Well the first thing to say is that jewellery can be important to everyone for many reasons. For most people it would seem that it is worth a lot more to their hearts than it is in money. This can actually be for a number of reasons. The usual reason for all of this is because they recieved it from somebody who is very special to them. This seems to be the one thing that makes jewellery a lot more valuable to people. Do the same things happen to the rich and famous?
Well it can certainly be argued that they all have so much jewellery that losing one or two pieces wouldn’t matter to them at all and in most cases it really doesn’t. These people are so rich that they most likely bought it for no good reason and wore the piece once. Although there are many celebrities out there that abuse the fact that they have a lot of money, there are some that treat it with respect and only get jewellery when they need too. The thign that makes ti so special is the fact that you recieve the jewellery as a really precious gift or you save up for a long time for it.

For Paris and Lindsay it is very unlikely that any of the jewellery was anything more than things they had bought for themselves.

It is also true to say that being robbed is very scary and it can be a huge relief when you find out the culrptis have been caught and your items are back. Lohan, Hilton and the LAPD would all have recieved press for this so I wonder if the LAPD worked extra hard on the cases.
