If a pet does not go missing then please do not panic. You will not be able to think straight if you are in a bit of a panic which means in the end you will not be able to find your animal because you just will not be able to concentrate.

Do not ever give up looking because animals turn up all over the place, my dog was literally miles away, here is the story:

The dog that we had gotten from the RSPCA has just started to get used to our family, we usually buy our dogs but thought we would give a resuced one a chance. It seemed that the normal morning walk had taken a bit longer that normal so we were getting a bit worried until of course Dad walked in without the dog which was even more worrying.

What had happened is that he took a different route to normal and went down a main road, when a car went speeding by the dog had panicked and had pulled hard and escaped with the lead still attached to it.

So the search had begun with us frantically approaching printing management companies to help us look for the dog by flyer printing.

It ahad been quite a long time with a lot of stress involved which is when we got a call from someone saying she had the dog trapped in a field . So Mom and a friend from the office went off in the car to look for her. The thing is we thought this was impossible as the location was over ten miles from where she went missing. In the end it actually turned out that the dog had gone across fields, motorways and other roads to get to where she was now stuck. It is crazy to think how far the dog had travelled without injuring herself at all.

One of the best things to do is no actually give up as there can always be a chance it will all work out for you. You could always fit a chip into the dog to track it and get that unique label in the similar way that companies do with branding design.
