The upcoming years is bearing down upon us, and now the decision on a holiday is becoming more important. Christmas is here, and so holiday bookings fall to an all time low, then January slaps us in the face and those bookings go mad. It is time to start looking at who will be taking on the beach holiday in the heavyweight for for summer, let’s see how we think cruise holidays could fair up.
The Cruise ship holiday has done very well, and the ships themselves just seem to be getting bigger and bigger to accommodate more people. The cruise ships have always been a bit of a fad, when they first came out especially. The Cruise ship was a massive phenomenon but it was very expensive, and the price hasn’t changed much. However now things are slightly different and now people from all walks of life have this opportunity. Although you get a large amount of tourists on one ship, sometimes over 3 thousand, the massive size of this ship helps to make it able to cope with this. Cruise ships do have a hell of a lot of “stuff” aboard, some even cinemas, and there is always a performance at a lovely restaurant.
Island holidays are very popular, the same as beach holidays, these are the more common holiday, where you relax in one spot, no travelling involved. We will use one location as an example let’s say the Caribbean. Some great locations like St Lucia, Barbados or Antigua along with many others. If you want to save a little bit of cash, a cruise holiday is not the best way to go, and although Caribbean holidays are also a bit pricey, they do not cost as much, and they are considered more luxurious too. If you like to move around the beach holiday would probably not be the best idea?
So what are you going to plan for your holiday next year, Caribbean holidays also come in that crucial cruise mix as well, where as St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays are great, especially for those that just want to sun!
